Self-Affine Measures

We show some pictures of self-affine sets or measures. The first is a novel self-affine set, which I call the lobster fractal. The second is the well-known Sierpinski triangle. In the third we have added a diagonal expansion, yielding a contracting on average self-similar measure. The fourth is the Barnsley fern and the fifth the dragon curve. The second, third and fifth are self-similar. These pictures were generated by a random walk algorithm.
